Thor Character Biography
Thor is the god of Thunder and comes from the land of Asgard. He is the son of Odin and a fierce warrior. Thor has been a popular Marvel comics character since his first appearance in 1962. The marvel Thor character was created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Larry Lieber. Thor's popularity has soared recently with the release of the movie Thor featuring Chris Hemsworth as the Asgardian. Thor will return to cinemas this summer as one member of the Avengers.
Thor's Powers
Thor does not age and is nearly immortal. He is nearly invulnerable to injury and has amazing sense allowing him to hear things happening across the planet.
